Announcer extraordinaire Larry “Supermouth” Huffman recently underwent yet another surgery to repair his left foot. This time, they drilled into the bones and inserted 11 rods or “pins.”

Three weeks after that procedure, his surgeon “adjusted” the position of the bones by using a small surgical wrench to move them in the correct position. Huffman said the “adjustment” moved one of the major bones two millimeters.

“It certainly got my attention,” Huffman noted, “although it wasn’t as painful as I expected.”

The pins can be removed in another two or three weeks, and he is hopeful that he may again be able to walk somewhat normally.

We all wish you a speedy recovery, Larry.
